3 nights of live shows (11/23-25) curated by Heavier than Jupiter and Ninth Circle Music for a tour. Sets were recorded at Soup in Tokyo. One project was show cased for each night: OMEI (Paradise), CHRIS GOUDREAU (Purgatory), SICKNESS (Inferno). Shows were originally performed with a quad speaker setup but have been mixed down to stereo for this release.

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth

Chris skillfully uses the sample's ambient hums and noises to build tension and paints a thought provoking sound scape. I think it really stands out from his SICKNESS and OMEI works in the sense that he seems to be utilizing the full nature of the sample he took. Any how, sorry it took a while for me to drop any comments! k
